The new iPhone 18 Pro Max could cost Ukrainians up to 162,000
The official prices for the new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max in Ukraine have not yet been finalized. At the same time, preliminary prices have already appeared in major Ukrainian stores, and the most expensive version of the iPhone 18 Pro Max, with 2 TB of storage, costs nearly 162,000 hryvnias.
According to Ivan Pavlik, CEO of “ASBIS-Ukraine,” the exact recommended prices are expected to be announced before pre-orders begin. Official sales of the new Pro models in Ukraine are expected to start on September 25, 2026.
How Much Does the iPhone 18 Pro Max Cost?
While the official price list is still being finalized, Ukrainian retailers have already revealed the estimated cost of the new flagship. The price depends primarily on storage capacity. Preliminary prices for the iPhone 18 Pro Max are as follows:
- 256 GB — 83,999 UAH;
- 512 GB — 96,999 UAH;
- 1 TB — 122,999 UAH;
- 2 TB — 161,999 UAH.
In other words, the difference between the cheapest and most expensive versions is nearly 78,000 hryvnias. The top-of-the-line 2 TB model will cost over 160,000 hryvnias. At the same time, some stores are already offering prices that differ from the preliminary price list. For example, prices for the 256 GB iPhone 18 Pro Max currently start at around 76,500 hryvnias, depending on the model and retailer. Therefore, the figures of 83,999–161,999 hryvnias should be viewed as approximate prices rather than Apple’s final official price list for the Ukrainian market.
When will the official prices be announced?
Ivan Pavlik, CEO of “ASBIS-Ukraine,” stated that the final recommended retail prices are expected to be announced at the start of the pre-order period. “The sales launch depends on the type of device: for the new iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max lineup, we expect pre-orders to begin on September 18 and sales to start on September 25, 2026,” Pavlik said.
Thus, Ukrainians won’t have to wait long for the official pricing. Pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max are expected to begin on September 18, and the smartphones will be officially available for purchase starting September 25. Meanwhile, product pages for the new smartphones are already appearing in stores, indicating the expected delivery date. Some retailers list September 25 as the release date for the iPhone 18 Pro Max.
What colors will the iPhone 18 Pro Max come in?
The new iPhone 18 Pro Max will be available in four colors: Burgundy, Glacier, Black, and Silver. Burgundy is a dark burgundy shade, while Glacier is a light blue. Classic black and silver options will also be available.
Each of these colors will be available depending on the smartphone’s configuration and the specific retailer. The final lineup for the Ukrainian market will become clearer once official pre-orders begin.
And how much will the foldable iPhone cost?
Separately, Ukrainian stores have already revealed estimated prices for Apple’s first foldable smartphone—the iPhone Duo. According to preliminary data, its price may be:
- 256 GB — 124,999 UAH;
- 512 GB — 134,999 UAH;
- 1 TB — 156,999 UAH;
- 2 TB — 187,999 UAH.
In other words, the most expensive version of the foldable iPhone could cost nearly 188,000 hryvnias. That’s about 26,000 hryvnias more than the top-of-the-line iPhone 18 Pro Max. At the same time, the iPhone Duo won’t be released in Ukraine at the same time as the Pro models. Its official release is expected later—roughly in late October or early November.
When Will Sales of Other New Apple Products Begin?
Along with the new iPhones, the Ukrainian market is also set to receive other Apple devices. Sales of the AirPods 5, Apple Watch 12, and Apple Watch Ultra 4 are also scheduled to begin no later than September 25. Authorized partners will provide the exact release dates at a later time.
Thus, the key date for those awaiting the new iPhone in Ukraine is September 18. That is when pre-orders are expected to begin and the official suggested retail prices are set to be announced. For now, the estimated price range for the iPhone 18 Pro Max is from 83,999 hryvnias for 256 GB to 161,999 hryvnias for 2 TB. However, the final price may vary, so the exact figures should be confirmed with authorized retailers once pre-orders open. Ivan Pavlik, CEO of “ASBIS-Ukraine”—an authorized Apple distributor in Ukraine—shared this information in a comment to RBC-Ukraine.
In July, approximately 700 artificial intelligence agents—created by OpenAI for internal research—coordinated in a so-called swarm and discovered a number of vulnerabilities in Hugging Face’s systems. According to TIME, the agents exploited these vulnerabilities to gain access to the company’s private systems, and OpenAI only realized what was happening after the incident had already occurred.
